Program Title: FES control for swallowing in Stroke Patients

Purpose

The purpose of this program is to explore the use of implanted neuroprosthetic assistance for the treatment of swallowing after a Stroke. This problem impacts many Stroke survivors creating aspiration while swallowing. Chronically, the act of aspirating can lead to pulmonary issues.
